Although we love to send you nothing but bad ass educational material, we see a need to take a second and break down some basics for you to feel clear as a crystal cucumber about what coaching is. If you have ever had a question about getting coached, you will likely find it below.

What are the basic logistics of coaching?

*Here at Hell Yes Coaching we keep it simple. Once you choose your coach, you will talk to them once per week on 45 minute to 1 hour phone calls. We prefer these to be at the same time each week, but we know life is a little messy, so having to reschedule these is something we definitely work with.

I get to choose my coach?

*Once you have your initial consult with Becca, our consult Queen, she gets a feel for exactly what you’re looking for. Whether it be business coaching, health coaching, relationship coaching, or a mixture of the many services we offer, Becca will help you decide. Upon this consult she will choose two to three coaches she thinks will fit best for you. After that, the control is put into your hands. The coaches Becca chooses will contact you to set up a free 30 min get-to-know-each other call. You will chat with your potential coaches and see who feels best to you. This call isn’t a coaching session, just two friends chatting and getting to know each other. You don’t need feel pressure to tell these coaches who you choose nor have an answer for them on the spot. Take your time, and Becca will reach out to get your answer and will take it from there to set everything up for you to begin your 1 on 1 coaching with your coach.

How do I choose a coach?

*Glad you asked! It’s imperative that you feel GOOD with your coach. The more open and vulnerable you can be, the more barriers you will be able to break through with you coach. When choosing a coach, we encourage you to choose based on your comfort level with this person and if you feel you will be able to take constructive advice from this person. Our coaches want nothing but the best for you and are working everyday to figure out how to help you achieve your goals. Still confused? Reach back to Becca and she will be sure to pick your brain constructively to help your choice feel easier.

How often do people keep their coaches?

*Most coaches (and almost anyone who has had a coach) will tell you to have some type of coach for a lifetime. Depending on what you need in life and what you’re trying to achieve, you may want to switch between coaches as your life seasons change, but we truly believe that having a coaching meeting with someone who has your best interest at heart is the #1 way to expedite yourself towards demolishing your goals and hold you accountable to live a stronger, more fruitful and intentional life.

Here are HYC, we ask for a minimum of 3 months, but most clients continue after the initial 3 months once they have a taste of what it’s like to have a teammate in their life.

Do I need to have specific goals I am trying to reach in order to hire a coach?

*Nope! Sometimes people seek coaches specifically BECAUSE they are feeling complacent and bored with life, and the coach is the person that helps someone decide what they really want out of life. You can come to your first coaching self in your most hot-mess self with no direction. That’s what we are here for.

“I am already so spread thin, I can’t IMAGINE hiring someone to put me through life bootcamp, I would feel so overwhelmed.”

*May we politely just say….”No way, Jose. Ya got it all wrong, sista.”

If you’re feeling overwhelmed and spread thin, there is no better time than to hire a coach. A coach isn’t someone who is going to make your life HARDER, hiring a coach is like hiring a new crew member to help you row this boat you have been rowing alone for so long. The accountability, friendship, direction ad blueprint they will offer you will feel like 1,000 lbs have been lifted off your shoulders.

How is Hell Yes Coaching different than other coaching platforms?

*The coaching industry is a quickly growing industry in the US. Most coaches are individuals offering their one service or “niche.” So, you may come across a coach who coaches relationships. Or you may find a coach who only coaches health. Here at HYC, we wanted to offer all the top services in one place. We have separate coaches for relationships, health, business, money and income growth, self-esteem, goal setting, marathon training, and more. Hell, we even coach coaches. The owner of Hell Yes Coaching saw a need for a company to take this amazing industry and offer it in a different light. You no longer have to “know someone who knows someone” in order to find the type of coach you feel you need. It can be intimidating to have to interview so many different coaches from so many different platforms. Just come to us and interview a few coaches all in one place so the power is more in your hands.

What is the basic outline of events that will happen when I hire a coach?

*You will first contact us. We will have you fill out a questionnaire about your life, lifestyle, goals, wants and wishes for life. Once this is complete you will speak with Becca about what you’re looking for. From there, she will send an emailed invoice and basic agreement document to sign. Then you will be contacted by your chosen few coaches for a free 30 minute chat. From there, Becca will contact you back to help you decide which coach is best for you, and get you squared away for your first phone call. Easy Peasy. And just like that, you have hired yourself a coach and turned a new chapter in life.

May the odds be ever in your favor.
